The Montessori approach was initially created for children with special needs. Children meet these needs through self-directed, hands-on learning in an enriched environment, with specially designed educational materials that allow them to choose their activities freely and learn in their own way and at their own pace.
For September, Montessori Educare will have space available for some special needs children. Virna, the directress, has worked with Down Syndrome children in Latin America and, more recently, in Victoria. She has altogether 20 years experience in working with preschool children.
Montessori Educare provides a small, congenial setting that suits these children. Our specialty is Down Syndrome, but we also accept children with other special needs. Please contact Virna by phone at 881-8666, or by Fax at 881-8613, for any questions or to arrange for a visit.
