The Montessori approach was initially created for children with specialneeds. Children meet these needs through self-directed, hands-on learningin an enriched environment, with specially designed educational materialsthat allow them to choose their activities freely and learn in their ownway and at their own pace.
For September, Montessori Educare will have space available for somespecial needs children. Virna, the directress, has worked with DownSyndrome children in Latin America and, more recently, in Victoria. Shehas altogether 20 years experience in working with preschool children.
