    Taught part-time at Maria Montessori Academy (Victoria), Springridge Early Childhood Centre (Victoria) and Bluebell Preschool and Daycare (Sidney), January to December 1996
    Taught in the Saanich Montessori Academy (preschool with daycare), Victoria (1993-95)

    Conducted a home based Montessori preschool program for 2 1/2-4 year old children in Arequipa, Peru (1986-89)
    Taught full-time at the Montessori Preschool "Las Gemas" in Tegucigalpa, Honduras (1984-85)

    Organized and coordinated a project providing nutrition, health and early childhood education services to mothers and children in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; and trained teaching assistants (1984-85). Material and financial assistance was provided by CARE International and IAT, a non-governmental organization based in Victoria, BC and funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)

    Worked as advisor to a national daycare program in Honduras funded by the U.S. government through its Agency for International Development (A.I.D.), to implement classrooms and train teachers in the Montessori method (1985)

    Organized a training course for preschool teachers and teaching assistants in Honduras, conducted by Angela Martin, Director of the Maria Montessori Academy, Victoria (1984)

    Worked as UNICEF field supervisor and program assistant for an early childhood education project in Andean communities in southern Peru and participated in project monitoring and evaluation (1976-1980)
